Our Story
In 2012, Mark and Michelle Hedman combined their passions and started their very own farm. The two have a combined farm experience of over 45 years. They manage, market, and operate the farm, as well as have daily jobs in insurance and nursing. Over the years, they have been dedicated to humanely treating animals with a mission of raising animals that are naturally grown.
On their 13 acres of land, the animals have a healthy open environment that allows for a natural maturity diet of natural grains and grass without hormones or antibiotics. The previous livestock raised for production on the farm were steers, goats, broilers, and hens. Both Mark and Michelle wish to continue furthering their education and research to improve the farms' production, conservation, and sustainability. At MKM Family Farms, we are proud of our superior products that 'Naturally Tastes Better'!
